GMT's Quality Management System

GMT has established a quality management system that is in compliance with the
International Quality System Standard for ISO 9001:2000 since 2003.

And since april 2009 also Aerospace Standard AS 9100 Rev. B.
The certification is now carried out by
 
AQA International

This ensures that GMT, as a supplier gives our customers the best quality on service and all products.

ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems)
 
is the standard that provides a set of uniform requirements for a quality management system, regardless of what the user organization does, its size, or whether it is in the private or public sector. AS9100 (Aerospace Management Systems)
 
is a widely adopted and standardized quality management system for the aerospace industry. It was introduced by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) in the Americas and the European Association of Aerospace Industries in Europe in October 1999. The International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG) composed the AS9100 document which defines requirements for the Quality Management System Standard. AS9100 fully incorporates ISO 9000, while adding supplemental requirements relating to quality and safety. All major aerospace manufacturers (OEM’s) and suppliers worldwide endorse or require registration to AS9100 as a condition of doing business with them.
