The Pressure
Equipment Directive (PED) 97/23/EC is a
mandatory requirements for all deliveries
of pipes, fittings, flanges and other applicable
components to the offshore marked.

1. ISO 9001:2000
certification is a mandatory requirement for all
companies involved in the supply of materials,
e.g. manufacturers, traders and stockists. The
certification body shall be established within
the European Community, as required by Annex I
of PED 97/23/EC.

compliance certification is a mandatory
requirement for all material manufacturers
involved. This compliance shall be verified by

IS0 9001:2000 may be acceptable, provided the
manufacturer complies with the requirements:

requirements mentioned above (point 1, 2 & 3)
cannot be met, can you use a 3th parts certified
company (DNV, TÜV etc.) who certified the
products according to 3.1.2. This have to bee
approved by the customer before the start of
production.
